Written in the font Transport, a quote from Orwell's essay the Lion and the Unicorn adorns the wall in the form of vinyl cut text.
Each work is titled after the action used to activate it.
The workshop area is titled Make; viewers can look at a display of historical badges from the the UK's political past and take part in daily badge making workshops.
A double sided road sign titled Walk juxtaposes the Remembrance poppy with the peace dove.
A 50" HD TV shows an animation called Read; a series of verbal commands in health and safety colour coding.
Take; a collation of text based research, takes the form of 5 fanzines which are free to take. A list of placard slogans collected at the Peoples Vote March and Extinction Rebellion protests. A complete list of 1980’s Against the Bomb badge titles. Email correspondence with Britain’s badge buff Frank Setchfield regarding the cultural relevance of bootleg badges. A story written by my Mother remembers her on the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament’s 1963 march from Aldermaston to London.
